“At the time, the press was tearing me and my life apart in public,” Paul said in an exclusive interview with Delfi TV’s Everyday Heroes.
“It just came to my attention then. For over a year, I went to classes with psychologists, where we explored that stage of my life in great detail: why it happened, why I didn’t feel responsible when I needed it. It was very strange because it just happened. I didn’t think he could be convicted, sent to a colony, shut down. It seemed unrealistic to me, “says a man known in the past.
Paulius Bukauskas, who has been an event planner for many years, was highly regarded as a host of events and radio shows. Paul assures him that fortune smiled at him, everything he took followed him.
In telling the story of his life, Paul is outspoken: he doesn’t remember how he got involved in the game. In two years he lost everything: friends, job, career, good name. As if that were not enough, he became the center of attention of the forces of order. As a result of Paul’s actions, up to seven pre-trial investigations were launched. After taking the goods, computers and photographic equipment, he submitted a bank transfer statement, but did not actually transfer the money.
Paul was tried more than once, but was sent to prison for the crimes committed in 2018. Overwhelmed by large debts, the man fled to Ireland, was arrested here and spent a year alone. He was later transferred to Lithuania, where he continued to serve his sentence.
