Karolis Kaklys, representative of the opposition from the municipality of Druskininkai and elected to the city council with the Coalition of the Union of the Fatherland, shared a record on his social networks on Wednesday night.
The politician says that the dog walking through Vijūnėlė that day was attacked by the good friend of Druskininkai mayor Ričardas Malinauskas, as well as the city councilor, the bodybuilder Liudas Vaisietas.

After contacting L. Vaisieta, the politician comments that K. Kaklis’s statements are not true.

The event will not be investigated by the Alytus Commissariat.
K. Kaklys says he was interviewed at the Druskininkai Police Commissariat on Wednesday, but that he is not very happy about it.

K. Kaklys says that such events in Druskininkai are repeated for the first time. In 2013 the politician was attacked by another friend of the mayor of Druskininkai, his brother Vitoldas Jankauskas. Dissatisfied with the environment of the municipality
K. Kaklys tells journalists that the municipality is under great psychological pressure and politicians describe the management of the municipality as “authoritarian”.
