Google statistics show that the mobility and flow of the Lithuanian population to mass gathering places has increased recently and is gradually approaching the level that was recorded just before the introduction of the second quarantine. The increasing flow of the Lithuanian population to the mass gathering places is likely to be mainly related to the increase in psychological fatigue of the population due to the quarantine regime. In other words, the effect of the second quarantine is fading in Lithuania, “writes A. Izgorodin on Facebook.
It points out that from February 15 to 21, the flow of the Lithuanian population to the offices was 32.7 percent. lower than in the base period, and in the last week of February – 23.4 percent. lower than base period
At that time, from December 7 to 13, according to the economist, the Lithuanian population flow to the offices was 26.6 percent. lower than in the base period, at that time from December 21 to 27 – 56.4%. less than in the base period.
It points out that from February 15 to 21, the flow of the Lithuanian population to the transit facilities was 47.4%. lower than in the base period, and in the last week of February – 42 percent. less than in the base period.
“From December 7 to 13, the Lithuanian population flow to the transit facilities was 37 percent. lower than in the base period, while from December 21 to 27 it was 57%. lower than in the base period ”, says the economist.
According to A. Izgorodin, this means that the longer the second quarantine regime lasts, the less will be its restrictive effect on the mobility of the Lithuanian population.
