On Monday, the Government’s Emergency Commission discussed the latest epidemiological situation in the country and evaluated the latest police data.
“This topic should be examined by a group of experts and all options should be evaluated. This would be primarily associated with people who would like to engage in some kind of high-contact activity. This would be associated with some necessary testing. The idea it is that there is as much security as possible so that the virus does not spread, ”A. Bilotait dijo told reporters on Monday.
The government’s emergency commission is requesting a plan to increase Covid-19 test volumes this week.
“At our meeting, it was proposed to create an expert format to develop a plan to increase the scope of testing. Request that this plan be prepared by Friday. Because increasing the scope of the tests would allow us to see a clearer and more detailed picture of where we are, ”said A. Bilotaitė.
It is true that so far A. Bilotaitė does not know what level of evidence Lithuania could achieve according to its capabilities.
“It just came to our knowledge then. But this, of course, has to do with our capabilities and logistics.
