In a romantic setting, he ordered fast food to go during his quarantine – what he tasted was worthy of sin.

After deciding to enjoy nature for the weekend, we went to Melnrage beach in Klaipeda, by the sea. And here, on the shore, next to the parking lot there is a glass house and the “Come, come” beach bistro. I had to visit here once during the summer. I remember that time the impression was good, the food was simple but delicious. So we decided to evaluate and order some dishes and see how they are doing now, through the quarantine.

There were many people walking around, but inside, lining up, there was a mandatory distance between people. Of course, the food itself had to wait outside. It was cold, the winds were blowing terribly strong, but in the end we got food, more precisely, a speedometer, because we didn’t have to wait long and we didn’t have to wait, about 10 minutes. As you can see, there are no serious dishes in this place, so you will have to settle for sandwiches.

At first we asked the waiters what they would recommend. The pleasantly communicative woman behind the bar offered chili cheese donuts and asked if we had eaten at one of the popular fast food restaurants. We said no, but we didn’t want to try them here either. As it turned out, they are identical, from the same suppliers.

Our selection was: a panini sandwich with salami and cucumbers, mozzarella and sun-dried tomatoes (with fries), and fried chicken wings in breadcrumbs.

As it was windy outside, we went to the car to eat.

The panini sandwich was delicious and complete. The bread is crisp, it seems healthier, whole grain. Selected beef jerky, sundried tomatoes, cheese, greens, and pickles combined really well. It is true that the sauce inside was too much, so it was not very convenient to eat. The carton was served with spiral-rolled fries and mayo sauce.
That portion costs 5.50 euros.

Here, the fingers of the chicken breast fillet were crisp and completely non-greasy, served with mayonnaise sauce alongside those who wanted to taste these slices of meat and striped carrots and cucumbers, as a crunchy refreshment after each bite. It costs 6 euros.

I understand that such food is not the right choice, but I often don’t abuse it and sometimes I also want to diversify the quarantine start menu.

The sun was shining wonderfully and the atmosphere next to the beach itself made me feel romantic, full, we went for a walk by the sea. So if you want to eat in a romantic place in Klaipeda, you can do it deliciously here. Just understand that these foods are often not overused, they are not healthy foods. But in rare cases, this nutritional sin is just hard to resist.
