“Many mistakes are being made in the prism of coherence. When making decisions, there should be no such strange decisions, for example, to ban the slopes of Liepkalnis, since then the whole of Vilnius has been sledding in the parks. Or when beauty salons are opened, which are already riskier than supermarkets (I’m not saying this here, but there are statistics) ”, commented K. Gečas, senior partner of the INK communication agency, at the Delfi Day fair.
According to him, people are already psychologically tired and a part of society is financially tired, so they react to such things in an increasingly sensitive way.
“This inconsistency is perceived very simply as an injustice. And that gives some permission to ignore those decisions. Then we are faced with many stories that are heard in private from people circumventing the prohibitions,” said the communications specialist.

According to him, the current situation has changed significantly compared to what it was a year ago, when the pandemic first began.
“During the first wave, people were still very scared, companies were afraid that everything would collapse. Now we get used to it. Communication today is much more complex than a year ago.”
K. Gečas believes that this Government lacks positive communication in particular.
“It could be an education on the principle of advertising campaigns that would give people emotions. Now we see officials talking to politicians from the rostrum and saying nasty things,” he said.
According to the communication specialist, people should have more hope.
„[Geriausia] do not make definitive statements that something will happen on this or that day, but leave that hope. Not giving hope, even if it is true, is not, in my opinion, a good solution in this situation “, said K. Gečas on the program” Delfi diena “.
