During the Christmas period, the entrances of the Kaunas City Municipality were decorated with about 80 Christmas trees wrapped in rugs. Now Kaunas residents have noticed that all the trees have been cut down, leaving only the pots in which they were placed.
Readers of the kauno.diena.lt portal are concerned if there is some malice that has cut down the trees that were near the municipality. People were surprised that only stumps remained.
“It just came to our knowledge then. After all, those Christmas trees were there with the pots. Now the Christmas trees were cut down and left only the roots. After all, they could have planted Christmas trees instead of cutting them down. I don’t know if the city came up with this way, or if someone out of anger ruined everything, “thought the Kaunas resident.
However, the Kaunas City Municipality representatives reassured them that the Christmas trees that had already been crossed were built during the Christmas period, so there are no roots in the pots. The trees were put in pots filled with soil. The pots are also secured so that they are not blown away by the wind. Now the Christmas trees have been cut down as the clusters of the flowers whose bulbs were planted earlier are released.

“The kennels were brought here to cross, they were just put in pots to last longer. The pots themselves are frozen, so they didn’t want them to rot so as not to damage the flower bulbs. In the near future, the climate will still warm up and there will be no pots left, then the spring flowers will bloom ”, commented the representatives of the city’s municipality on the kauno.diena.lt portal.
