The body of a man with signs of violence has been officially reported. According to sources from Anykšta, it is possible that the stab was in the neck of the person found.
A. Remeikis went for a walk in the park on Monday morning. His body was found in a pine forest near the Norfos store on Kupiškio Street. People did not walk behind that pine forest, and the man who came out of the house with the shoes could have no reason to wade through the middle.
It is speculated that the head of the Utena municipality administration may have been assassinated elsewhere, and his body was transported (or moved) by the assassins to a more remote location.
One of the versions in which A. Remeikis may have noticed people engaging in criminal activity. Possibly her being in the wrong place at the wrong time and costing her husband his life.
Utena County Sheriff’s Office has yet to provide official information; Expert conclusions are awaited. According to the editors, the suicidal version has not yet been ruled out.
Utena County Police Representative Asta Šuminienė was unable to confirm or deny to news portal tv3.lt whether the body was found with a stab wound.
