Two more matches out of eight UEFA Champions League finals were played on Tuesday.
On Chelsea’s trip to London, they broke Atlético footballers 1-0 and reached the quarterfinals of the tournament. It is true that the Madrid team had to play a home game in Bucharest due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Atlético started the game a little more actively, but then the guests took control of the game.
The only goal of the game came in the 68th minute, but Olivier Giroud made a terrible save.
In the next match, Bayern Munich defeated Lazio Roma 4: 1.
Robertas Lewandowski brought the guests to the front already in the 9th minute, and 17-year-old Jamalas Musiala doubled Bayern’s double lead.
Leroy’us Sane added 42 minutes into play and Lancesio’s Francesco Acerbi took the lead in the 47th minute.
The home crowd applauded when, in the 49th minute, Joaquinas Correa’s shot down the middle caused the goalkeeper to make one of his best saves of the day.
