There are fewer and fewer unknowns in the European Championship selection, and another vacancy was filled by Estonian basketball players (2/4), who 84:86 (27:18, 22:20, 20:25, 15:23) landed in North Macedonia (2/4), but made the necessary difference.

To enter the European Championship, the Macedonians in Group B needed a victory of at least 9 points.

The Estonian team led almost every game, but in the end it almost played with fire. Nenad Dimitrijevic’s pitch put North Macedonia ahead (81:80), less than a couple of minutes left, but the Estonians braced and led again after the pitch by Then Sokk and Mike-Kalev Kotsar – 84:81.

Jacob Wiley reduced the gap by taking a penalty (83:84), and N. Dimitrijevičius shot from afar – the Macedonians again led – 86:84. There were 7 seconds left, during which nothing changed, but the end result still satisfied the Estonians.

M. Kalev-Kotsar (8th chamber) scored 15 points for the Estonian national team, Kaspar Treier (12th section) and Kristian Kullamae scored 14 points, and S. Sokkas (7th section).

N. Dimitrijevičius (5 res., 8 bl.) Added 23 points to North Macedonia, 21 – Bojanas Trajkovskis (3/4 trit., 6 sec.), 18 – J.Wiley (14 rep., 31 nb), 10 – Andrejus Magdevskis.

In Group B, Italians and Russians also participated in the European Championship.
