Russia and Belarus on Friday signed an agreement under which Minsk will be able to export its oil products through Russian ports on the Baltic Sea. This step is seen as a reaction to the sanctions imposed on Belarus by the neighboring Baltic countries.
Following the rigged presidential elections on August 9, massive protests erupted in Belarus, with more than 30,000 people arrested, hundreds injured and unavoidable.
