“I was working with a colleague that night when we stopped the car while we patrolled the city, we listened to loud music and it was around 9 pm at that time,” said the capital’s police officer. – We decided to go into the house and calm the noise. When we entered the staircase of the apartment building, we realized that the noise was coming from the apartment above; walking up the stairs to the third floor, we realized that the party was taking place right here and we smelled a strong and specific smell of the drug – marijuana. “
When officers knocked on the door, they were soon opened by a guy here: “We immediately smelled even louder, we realized that drugs were being used here, so we immediately walked in.”
And here, according to the policeman, he expected an even more unusual image.
“We went into a one-room apartment, there were seven people lying on the bed, another sitting in an armchair,” said a police officer. – When we asked him who is the owner of this apartment, Kristijonas Laimis P., who was lying in bed, replied that he is a tenant and all the other people in the apartment are his guests. Since we could smell the drugs, we asked if there were any prohibited substances in the apartment, but Kristijonas Laimis P. answered negatively. We decided to check: there was a plastic cookie container on the table, inside we saw folded transparent bags that can be squeezed. Inside was a white powder. Next to this bottle was a red metal box with the inscription “M & M’s”, which contained transparent squeezable bags with a potential drug of green plant origin “.
According to the official, a new inspection of the apartment in the second drawer made of a desk revealed several polyethylene balls with a possible plant-derived material: fungi.
“After inspecting the apartment, we asked who was the owner of all the possible drugs found, but none of the youth in the apartment told them who the owner was, which led to the arrest of Kristijonas Laimis P., a tenant of the police “, the police officer. saying. – Used to stop spec. handcuffs, Kristijonas Laimis P. was placed on the floor because there was no space on the bed and the couch. At that moment, another boy came out of the bathroom of the apartment. We also asked him if he had any prohibited items with him, but he replied that he had nothing. We did a partial inspection, we didn’t find anything prohibited next to it, but there was a jacket lying on the ground, in whose pocket we found a squeeze bag with possible drugs. “
According to the official, the guy later indicated that the jacket belonged to him, but the drugs did not belong to him.

“This guy was also arrested, he was given special measures – handcuffs, he was lying on the ground since all the seats were occupied – the officer continued the story.” As none of the people in the department said who had been found the possible drug, all the people in the department were taken to the staircase, where they were told that they would all be detained. “
According to the officer, after taking all the participants to the party, his companions inspected the bed where seven boys and girls lay.
“On the left side of the bed, we noticed two translucent squeeze bags that contained possible medications: a pink tablet, and between the mattresses we saw a translucent squeeze bag with many new and unused translucent squeeze bags, the same ones that were found for possible drugs. said the policeman. “In addition, a cardboard shoe box was found, which contained a scale for weighing light items, a plastic container with a white powder.”
According to the official, that night it was necessary to call the comrades for help, since it was necessary not only to examine the drugs found and take them, but also to present the participants of the party at the police station.
And here everyone seemed to say the same thing: “I do not know and I cannot say who is the owner of the narcotic and psychotropic substances that are in the apartment.”
At that time, researchers from the Lithuanian Forensic Research Center found that more than 36 g of cannabis (aerial parts), 13 g of cocaine, 0.001 g of alprazolam, almost 7 g of MDMA and 8 g of smoothheads (psilocybe) of the genus Mushroom.
Kristijonas Laimis P, who rented the apartment, was prosecuted for illegal possession of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances without the intention of selling or otherwise distributing them.
During an interview with the police, he admitted that all the drugs belonged to him.
“I bought all these materials for my own needs, I wanted to try all of them,” said the Vilnius resident. “All the drugs were bought at the same time, gradually, maybe a year or a half ago.”
Kristijonas Laimis P. claimed that he himself had consumed narcotic and psychotropic substances, that he did not distribute them to anyone and that they had no such purpose.
“Since I was detained, I have not bought or consumed more drugs and psychotropic substances, I confess the crime and I am very sorry,” said the guy who was detained for two days.
