The vote is expected on Saturday after the fourth day of Trump’s impeachment.

Democrats focused on the question of whether Trump’s unfounded allegations of electoral irregularities turned his supporters into radicals, while Republicans questioned impeachment. According to the latter, it is a “political show court” organized to discredit D. Trump.

Representatives from both sides raised the question of whether Trump had taken action to stop the violence.

“This question is being asked over and over again because the answer is, ‘nothing has been done,'” said prosecutor Stacey Plaskett.

The fourth day of the impeachment court ended with a question and answer session. The Senate will meet again on Saturday morning and Trump’s conviction is expected to be voted on for “incitement to violence.”

Democrats are expected to support the ruling and Republicans are expected to vote against impeachment. It takes two-thirds of the senators’ votes to impeach Trump and defend Trump from running again in the US presidential election.

While several moderate Republicans have shown their willingness to convict D. Trump, the chances of impeachment being implemented are slim.
