A person close to the mother can participate in the delivery together with the mother, but should not have symptoms characteristic of coronovirus infection (body temperature of 37.3 ° C or more, sore throat, cough, shortness of breath) and should not isolate yourself due to the epidemiological situation. While in the hospital, you must wear a respiratory protection device (medical mask or respirator) and follow established internal procedures.
For those who come with the mother to the reception of the Obstetrics Department of the Santara Clinics, the midwife on duty will compile an epidemiological history and measure the temperature of the person involved in the delivery. This person should also be tested for the COVID-19 virus (by PCR). If the test was done outside the hospital no later than 48 hours before. and the test result was negative and self-isolation was observed, it will no longer be necessary to re-test in the hospital. If the person did not perform the COVID-19 test, the smear from the nasopharynx will be taken at the reception of the Obstetrics Department of the Santara Clinics.
The person involved in the delivery should follow the instructions of the staff and leave the home immediately after delivery.
