Orai.lt: the temperature will rise a little more on the weekend

On the western side of the country, closer to the anticyclone looming over Scandinavia, the clouds will be rarer, we will see increasingly clear clearings. The north winds will intensify, which will be unpleasant and gusty in much of the country, and occasionally gusty in the southeast of the country. Light snow will blow in many areas.

The temperature in cloudy eastern Lithuania will not rise much and will be between 10 and 13 degrees below zero. On the western side, not only weaker winds are to be expected, but also milder temperatures – 8-9 degrees for men and 5-7 degrees for the coast.

On Saturday night, when the wettest clouds moved away from the sea, it will snow briefly in some places, mainly in the west of the country. Winds from the north and northwest will slow a little, snow will only blow in some places, most likely in the east of the country. If the clear weather doesn’t last long, the temperature will drop less quickly, down to minus 11-16 degrees.

On Saturday, there will still be some snow only in some places. The winds from the north, northwest will be stronger, which will be strong throughout the country. In some places, its gusts will reach 15-17 m / s.

The busiest day is expected in the eastern part of Lithuania, where the temperature will rise more slowly and will remain between 5 and 8 degrees cold. Elsewhere it will be a few degrees warmer, and in the far western part of the country this wind will warm from the sea breeze to warmer air and will heat up to 0-1 degrees when it warms up here.

Snow is expected Sunday night, mostly light, in many parts of the country. The wind will cover a bit, but in some places it will snow. The warmer weather will still persist and temperatures will only drop to 3-8, in the east of the country about 10 degrees below zero. On the seashore, it will only be able to drop from 0 to 2 degrees below zero.

On Sunday we will have a lot of snow, and a lot more. On the coast and in the southwestern part of the country, mixed precipitation and weak lijundra can form in some places. The northwest wind will not be in a hurry, there will be strong winds in many places. A light blizzard will form in some places. Temperatures will remain milder and rise to 2-7 degrees below zero, and in the southwest and near the sea will fluctuate around 0 or be weakly positive.

Clouds will be rarer again on Monday, with little snow likely in places. The north wind will calm down, the snow will no longer blow. Temperatures will drop slightly to 13-18 degrees at night and slowly rise to 7-12 degrees during the day and 4-6 degrees at the beach.
