Skvernelis is in no hurry to let go of some of the restrictions – he will have to face the consequences of relaxation.

He recalled that the instructions in the Operations Manual on Personal Protective Equipment were still valid.

“There are recommendations by decision of the operations manager, they do not disappear anywhere, that function remains. The restrictions that also apply to the use of personal protective equipment, transportation, mass meetings, which remain. Now for catering establishments, the operations manager decides under what conditions they can work, economic restrictions remain. There are no major changes in this area, “said the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister declined to anticipate events and say what opening hours catering establishments will be able to work after the end of the quarantine.

“I would like to remind you that until June 16, what is valid is valid. After that, we will still have more than a week, we will see the situation, there may be changes. As a result, I do not want to say what the decisions of the operations manager will be after from the end of the quarantine. Let’s not guess, until now the quarantine has not disappeared anywhere, those conditions are valid, “said S. Skvernelis.

The prime minister said that preparations for the second possible wave of the virus had started from the first day of the quarantine.

“It just came to our attention then. (…) We may have forgotten how difficult it was to provide safeguards. This is a cumulative reserve thereafter, a 30-day to 90-day reserve, depending on the institution itself. We will be prepared for another wave or another type of infection, “said the Prime Minister.

He said the lessons learned in the first days of quarantine will prevent it from being lost if a second wave of the virus also occurs.

“It will be much better (all countries, aut. P.) Be prepared for this second wave, if so. Some say that the third needs to wait, dangerous, and fall and winter. I hope we do not need it, but we will be ready” said the Prime Minister.

S. Skvernel did not want to predict how long an emergency could last.

“There is no time limit in the law, it can change naturally depending on changes in the situation. Even those restrictions that have persisted can change if the situation does not worsen but improves. There are already solutions for massive events and to increase the number of spectators. Now we have a situation where we have opened up quite strongly (…) and we have already relaxed, we need to see what the consequences will be, ”said S. Skvernelis.

Delphi remember that quarantine was introduced on March 16.
