You can dress from head to toe after shopping at such a sale. If you like the product shown in front of the screen, you just have to write in the comments what type of clothing you want, its size and color. Sellers reserve this product.

At the end of the broadcast, viewers remind the store of the clothes they want in a private message, transferring money. The store then packs and ships the purchases upon receipt of payment. New clothes travel by mail or courier services directly to customers’ homes.

Two bunnies – one shot

The sellers interviewed by the tv3.lt portal assure that this form of commerce is a real salvation, when the store can no longer accept customers.

Footwear merchant Žydrūnė Kairelienė from Rokiškis claims that it will make such sales even after quarantine, due to its double benefit:

“We hope to increase the audience and make sales not only in our city, but also more widely in Lithuania or even abroad. I have many clients who live outside of Lithuania. And live broadcasts are a great way to get familiar with the product on offer, tell it in detail, and answer questions of interest. “

Shoppers flooded the stores

It does not produce goods and becomes a hobby for customers.

Entrepreneurs recognize that stores are currently being bulldozed, and for customers, those purchases are simply becoming entertainment.

Ana Žvikienė, founder of the Kidssmile brand, says that after testing the sales during the live broadcast, her stores were razed. A woman thinks maybe it’s some kind of entertainment for people.

“We won’t be able to broadcast in the near future (around 2-3 weeks), because we just don’t have any assets anymore (laughs), and since we make and sew everything ourselves, we will have to wait until we have the products. There was nothing left of both stores.

People crave any kind of entertainment. One of them here is online shopping ”, says the businesswoman.

Jurgita Čepienė, owner of the Jomada online store, also mentions the lack of entertainment for people. She was one of the first in Lithuania to start selling clothes through Facebook live streams.

“I think this is a form of future sales; all salespeople should focus on it. People need communication, emotion, and this can be conveyed through these broadcasts,” says J. Čepienė.

Reach hundreds of viewers

After referring to Facebook, it can be noted that Lithuanians have already liked the live broadcasts, during which several hundred viewers often gather. And a transmission can last from 40 minutes, even up to 3 or 4 hours.

“We broadcast Monday through Thursday from 6pm to 8pm. We also have a ‘Lunch Break’ broadcast – around 12-13pm. Along with the coffee, we not only sell, but we also try to communicate with customers,” says J . Čepienė
