The HNK Gorica club, where three Lithuanians are currently performing their duties, returned to the Croatian championship after a break of almost three months.
The team trained by Valdas Dambrauskas, who had won victories in friendly matches before the renewal, this time had to settle for a draw – 0: 0 with the position below “Slaven Belupo”.
Attacking defender Paulius Golubickas of the Lithuanian national team started the match in the starting line-up, but his appearance on the field lasted only 9 minutes.
Although it was initially announced that this was a tactical decision, it later became apparent that his Lithuanian was facing an opponent and blood was spilled on the square.

According to Croatian media, Golubick has a broken jaw and will need surgery.
Until then, P. Golubickas was happy with the goals in friendly matches. He also managed to stand out against the country’s multiple champions, Dinamo of Zagreb.
HNK Gorica is sixth in the 10-team championship.
