Seeing such comments, R. Kulvinskytė’s husband, Povilas Miškinis Eidukonis, stood up to defend his wife and asked R. Bruzas why he dares to consider himself a better journalist than a journalist who creates entertaining content. And, in general, what right does he have to divide people and measure their worth?
The discussion soon turned heated: Povilas, who defended his wife, was hampered by a series of rude comments, one of which even offered to “grind his mouth to bite.” R.Bružas released unpleasant and rude comments to other people involved in the discussion, so in the end P.Miškinis-Eidukonis decided to contact lawyers about it, and although R.Bružas deleted the comments on Saturday, according to Povilas, definitely is not sufficient.

However, such an apology does not satisfy the family: People.lt Povilas said that he would go to court if necessary, because he would no longer come down with a laugh, and Rima’s current position does not seem sincere.
“At least I want to go to court, but I have already communicated with the lawyers, I am not a judge, it is not my job to evaluate such human actions, so I leave it to the responsible authorities. He is a journalist himself, he is responsible to the people, to the public, I think he should show his true regrets with his actions, not only write a message in which he supposedly regrets, but at the same time demands the removal of comments. I’m not convinced by such an apology, ”says Povilas.
He adds that this is not just an insult to his family, as this unpleasant discussion covers a much wider range of topics and is an opportunity to speak out loud to avoid similar unpleasant things in the future and learn certain lessons.
“I think we have moved the wound up and at this point I don’t want to close my eyes and pretend that nothing has happened. I think we have a serious precedent when a journalist, a public figure, rudely insults others; probably not everyone can pass it through their ears, I, for example, I can not. What I said personally: I do not accept it with sensitivity, it seems to me simply to insult a person for their physical characteristics, to threaten. It saddens me more because a person does not respect his colleagues at all; here’s the point. Nobody can measure the value of another ”, is convinced P. Miškinis-Eidukonis.

LRT: “We can’t tolerate that”
