For the fourth time in a row, leader Zenit of St. Petersburg (11-1) won the VTB United League.
Artūras Gudaitis played solidly and Xavi Pascualio’s army was absent 87:51 (22: 8, 18:15, 28:13, 19:15) crushed Tallinn’s Kalev (1-8).
Gudaitis started the duel in the opening five, played 20 minutes, scored 11 points (4/8 doubles, 3/3 penalty), bounced 5 balls, blocked 2 shots and scored 15 utility points.
Zenit basketball players, who hit their opponents with triples, made 14 shots out of 31 (45%). Igor Volchin and Austin Hollins each made three long pitches, Billy Baron, Vitaly Fridzon and Vladislav Trushkin two each.
The St. Petersburg team ranks first in the thirteen-team standings after 12 rounds, CSKA Moscow with 10 wins, in second place.
