If people can’t name it, the case is still unknown, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t unexplored. Other processes are carried out to isolate people who have been in contact with that person. This is how the spread of the virus is controlled, ”said A. Vžesniauskaitė.
In Lithuania, after testing 9,540 samples last day, 1122 people were confirmed to be infected with coronavirus, the Statistics Department reported on Saturday. Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of COVID-19 infections in the country is currently 166,680.
In the last day, 28 people died from COVID-19 and another 10 people with an earlier date of death from coronavirus infection were registered.
