223 members of the House of Representatives voted against the president, 197 against, 5 members did not vote.
The impeachment of Republican D. Trump was supported by at least 10 of his fellow party members.

The indictment will now go to the Senate, which will decide Trump’s fate. The removal of the president must be approved by two-thirds of the 100 senators.

Trump’s behavior also outraged his supporters in the Republican Party. According to a CNN source, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is sending signals to support impeachment.
The House of Representatives passed a resolution Tuesday night asking Vice President Mike Pence and the administration to remove Trump on the basis of the 25th constitutional amendment for being unable to hold office.
However, Pence refused to initiate a presidential impeachment procedure.
Trump himself, who has now lost his main channel of communication, an account on the social network Twitter, on Tuesday called the preparation for impeachment “absolutely” fun and “witch hunts.”
