“In response to concerns about possible violence, we have removed new content uploaded to Donald J. Trump’s channel for violating our policies,” he told YouTube.

The channel “will be temporarily unable to upload new content for at least seven days,” the statement added.

Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts were also frozen last week. The move came in the wake of the January 6 storming of the Capitol in Washington by Trump supporters, who temporarily interrupted a congressional meeting to confirm President-elect Joe Biden’s election victory.

The social network Twitter has gone even further: Trump’s account has been deleted, depriving the president of his favorite platform to speak.

D. Trump has also been blocked by platforms like Snapchat and Twitch.
