First batch of “modern” coronavirus vaccine has arrived in Lithuania

From now on, new shipments of Moderna vaccines will be delivered every week in January and February.

Vaccine shipment 11:40 pm has been delivered to the warehouses of the Sanitary Emergency Situations Center (ESSC) and will be stored at -20 ° C.

The vaccines will be transported from the ESSC storage facility to the Kaunas City Polyclinic. The vaccine shipment will be transported at 2 to 8 ° C, using special equipment to ensure temperature maintenance and traceability of the temperature regime throughout transportation.

Moderna doses should be used within 28 days.
