About a year later, the Vilnius Municipality completed the re-implementation of the new city master plan and submitted it to the State Inspectorate for Land Planning and Construction for coordination.
Povilas Poderskis, Director of the Municipal Administration, V confirmed that the document was uploaded to the Access Information System of the State of Territorial Planning and will contact other institutions for its coordination.
However, he says he cannot predict when the plan, which has been in the works for more than four years, will be approved.
We hope that the authorities will coordinate operationally, since this is the most important land use planning document in the capital, he says.
Mindaugas Pakalnis, the city’s chief architect, previously said that during the replanting, the municipality had received around 330 proposals to correct the general plan.
The publicity stage will be used, since the objective is to give a reasoned response to the offers, the process will be stopped and the mandatory instructions of the Construction Inspection on complaints will be drawn up in the report.
2019 At the end of 2007, the State Building and Spatial Planning Inspectorate (VTPSI) stopped examining the new Vilnius Master Plan and indicated that the document had been adjusted after the first public reading, so the public should revert to submit the amendment. After the first reading stage, the municipality had received around 1,222 offers, some of which were taken into account.
The Vilnius Master Plan, which has been in the works for more than four years until 2030, foresees 5 main priorities: urban development in the Naujininkus and Rasas districts near the center, the second direction are sleeping areas.
The third center, which will be protected, and new projects are only allowed to preserve the heritage.
The fourth priority is the aka face of the city. The uniqueness and advantage of the city is when it will be possible to walk to the nearest bus or park, says the municipality.
The main priority is urban transport and communications: in the capital there are many new connections, viaducts, bridges, psij and bike paths, as well as infrastructure for drones.
