Former LitCon contractors renovated the main pedestrian and bicycle lane, cleaned up coastal roads, and paved the dock sidewalks. On the outskirts of the Nemunas, field engineering networks have been renovated, concrete pavements and retaining walls have been installed. It was fully paid.
The new contractor will need to cover the stone pavement of the Nemunas embankment, adjust the guidance system for the blind on the renovated pedestrian path and other deficiencies. Following these adjustments, other planned reconstruction works will continue.
Reconstruction of the park is expected to be completed in 2022.
