The Council of Social Workers approves 23 candidates in single-member constituencies, including known names

23 candidates were nominated to participate in the Seimas elections in single-member constituencies in October this year.

Among the already approved candidates who will compete for the votes of voters in single-member constituencies are the names of the members of the LSDD faction in the Seimas. Nominated and approved by LSDDP President Gediminas Kirkilas, his deputies, Seimas members: Andrius Palionis, Juozas Bernatonis, Elder of the Rimantas Sinkevičius faction, as well as members of the Rimantė Šalaševičiūtė faction and Antanas Vinkus. Among the nominated candidates are other people well known to the voters: Algimantas Matulevičius, Inga Molevaitė, Petras Narkevičius, Eduardas Šablinskas, Valdas Tutkus, Zenonas Vaigauskas, Antanas Valys and others.

“Most of the nominees are politicians who have experience, are known to the public, have worked at Seimas, and have delivered on many promises. I think there is no question about their competence and ability to meet voter expectations.” A total of 23 candidates in single-member constituencies were approved. The LSDDP is slated to approve the rest of the candidates at the Council meeting in late June, when the conditions for quarantine events are announced, ”says G. Kirkilas, president of the LSDDP.
