It is not the most pleasant sensation to walk the cognitive paths with a mask. There is nowhere to take it off, because when the sun was shining, all Vilnius residents flocked to nature. Despite the closure of the Belmont Amusement Park, there are almost no parking spaces. If the Šilėnai Cognitive Trail is choking from the flow of visitors during the spring quarantine, it is due to the introduction of new restrictions on the clogged and Pūčkoriai Cognitive Trail.
I go straight out of the car to the suspension bridge over Vilnelė. There, in the summer, I saw a new information booth on the cognitive trail, and I find it there even now. After a brief study of the routes marked with different colors, I see that they all lead to a newly installed section on the right bank of Vilnelė. After descending behind the Pūčkoriai outcrop, the routes separate at the Pūčkoriai mansion. It is possible to choose the desired length according to the forces and desires, although the Pavilniai Regional Park names it as a destination option. Until the outcrop of Pūčkoriai, the same fate awaits everyone, so without turning my head too much, I start down a narrow path through the meadow towards the stairs that lead upwards.
I have not hiked this section of the trail before so it is quite interesting to hike. There are far fewer people here than on the old Pūčkoriai educational trail. If it weren’t for that little stand by the suspension bridge, maybe I wouldn’t have discovered this trail. The route winds through the top of the slope, bypassing the rectangular horns in a circle and showing the Pūčkoriai outcrop from another angle through the tree branches. Like what is written on the booth. And it seems the time of year is the most appropriate for this – much better visibility through deciduous trees.
Like snakes, Pūčkoriai’s cognitive trail runs through birch forest, through dark spruce trees, through real-looking oak trees without uniform leaves, which always remind me of Dubingiai. The giants that grow on the slopes of the castle look special there.
Frozen leaves and icy stairs on the ground require more attention; in places the trail is slippery and icy. Especially on the hills and slopes, which are not lacking on the trail. Finding a place where the devil could break his leg, the Pavilniai Regional Park built a stand around the horn. Like the pulpit, a stand on the slope of a raguva attracts travelers more as a place for photography than as a source of information.
This place is like a warm-up for those who are afraid of heights, as the trail continues towards the hidden view in the forest. The Pavilniai Regional Park is rich in them. It would be enough to build a trail and show what nature has rewarded the regional park, but a well-equipped view with Pushkin’s words is like a real gem of a cognitive trail.

Let this sight be the main impetus to traverse a new section of the cognitive path, because the next object is already well known to Vilnius residents. Renovated some time ago, the sighting of the Pūčkoriai outcrop with terraces and viewing platforms and resting places elevates the Pūčkoriai Nature Trail to the highest league.
This is a place to stay. Especially if the weather is nice. The Pūčkoriai outcrop is separated from Belmont by a 1.7 kilometer stretch, which rises upwards and then begins to descend. The Pūčkoriai educational trail reaches the Pole-equipped bunkers, and the information booth next to them sends you to a light knockout. Previously, several newly designed stands with 3 tours have disappeared somewhere, and all the information is still in the old type of stands. However, the greatest confusion is caused by another Pūčkoriai cognitive trace scheme drawn on the bleachers that appeared.
It looks like someone has drawn a new route on an old map with an old route without erasing the old one first. Such a position took me off the track a bit, but not out of the way, so after reproducing the outline of the new path in my mind, I traveled further. The bridge near the Pūčkoriai mansion through Vilnelė is like a transportation hub, where pedestrian paths meet and stand out. Here, descending from the Pūčkoriai outcrop, the Pūčkoriai cognitive and historical trail joins the ring. The Pūčkoriai trail installed by the Vilnius City Municipality connects in the same way. The Pūčkoriai Cognitive Trail, which has followed one route so far, branches into 3 branches. The trail route around Vilnius also passes through here. If you go for a walk anyway, no problem, but to go a specific path you will have to think hard.

I chose a medium-length route that passes the canyon foundry on the left bank of the Vilnelė river. There are several times more people here than in the section that tops the outcrop. Everyone enjoys the good weather and the views of the Pūčkoriai outcrop from below.
Belmont relentlessly approaches and at the same time is the end of the 3.7-kilometer-long Pūčkoriai Nature Trail route. The new information posts that had existed before the Pūčkoriai upwelling disappeared with everything, and I didn’t see them until the end. This is how the riddle of the cognitive trails of the Pavilniai Regional Park went unnoticed. As if I had reached the end of the road, I pulled out the phone, which went off. Am I going home without a route? Therefore, there was an opportunity not only to cross the trail in another direction, but to find a solution for the Pūčkoriai cognitive trails.
Pūčkoriai cognitive history trail – I found such a name written on a support and it turned out that it would be more logical to call the cognitive trail built here long ago. He also owns all the old type stands that are now being renovated. They also represent a trail scheme.
Pūčkoriai educational trail: a trail with 3 long circular routes marked on newly designed stands. I would like the Pavilniai Regional Park to find resources to build several more stands and install humor brands. This trail is not inferior to the Šilėnai cognitive trail and together with other trails favored by the media could successfully fight the TOP10. There are many gifts from nature, but like all good gifts, they need beautiful packaging.
