Dakar SS3 speed section forecast
The first circular stretch of speed around Wadi Ad-Davasira, in its shape reminiscent of a mouse for some and a stylized heart for some.
The first of two loop speed sections on this Dakar. On the third day of the rally, the organizers will lead the participants to the fight in a real sandbox: the dunes here are spread widely and in small chains. The special speed section will have extremely technical and extremely fast sections. This is the first day that the fastest runners will have the opportunity to increase their advantage over their rivals.
The sections, as the organizers promised in advance, are also being developed in part to help runners save money on logistics.
This is a really fast section, where you will have to constantly overcome short sections of dunes, approximately every 10 km. This will be followed by several large valleys where you can drive at full speed. And in the last part, the riders will have to re-focus a lot on the road book. Because the end of SS3 will be very technical, with a lot of rocks.
The organizers note that on the third day, the following characteristics of the track await the participants: 78 percent. sand, 12 percent. soil and 10%. stones
