Authorities are looking for a Klaipeda resident who has left the park and has not returned

Not Mercedes, but BMW

Late Tuesday night, representatives of the Klaipėda County Chief Police Station posted an online request for assistance. The story described sounded horrible.

“We are asking for public help.” So the port city police officers approached Klaipeda residents and people from the surrounding settlements in a virtual space late at night. “At around 4 in the afternoon, a girl called 112 to ask for help.

After reading the information, Klaipeda residents were quick to share this message, with many expressing their personal suspicions, concerns, and anxiety.

The officers were in Mazūriškės a few minutes later. After inspecting the possible location of the incident, they noticed a man fishing near the quarry.

The woman called from a phone with a prepaid card. In addition, the couple lives in a house where both have not declared their place of residence.

Although the action took place at a distance, the man claimed to have seen the man forcefully grab the girl and pull her out.

This man described the kidnapped girl and indicated how she was dressed.

The witness was initially convinced that he had seen a Mercedes Benz.

After going through all the houses closest to the scene, officers found residents who were equipped with a video surveillance camera.

Soon in his recording, officers saw a dark Mercedes and were quick to post a photo of the car he was looking for.

A little later, it turned out that the witness was wrong about the brand of the machine.

The man who took the girl was driving a BMW, although after reviewing his report, officials again announced that the girl’s kidnapper had abandoned Mercedes.

A pre-trial investigation into the illegal deprivation of liberty was immediately initiated in the Commission.

The report was taken very seriously.

At first, the police did not know who the girl was who was asking for help over the phone. They only had a phone number, so the search continued.

Officials called that phone number many times, but no one answered or the phone was turned off.

“The request for help was completely incomplete, but seemed threatening, from what he heard on the phone, it turned out that the caller was very scared and felt a real threat, so we took this call very seriously. The person’s story who saw the incident confirmed, “Although the situation was serious. Although he was wrong about the car, he was far away. The man sincerely wanted to help, and we are grateful to him for that, “said Raimondas Vaitkevičius, deputy chief of Klaipėda County Police.

The girl managed to yell into the phone, “Drop, drop! Save!” She said nothing more.

After hearing the woman’s call for help over and over again when she called the helpline, the police did not doubt that the victim was in real danger and did not lay hands, as it was unclear whether the man did not had held captive.

Klaipėda AVPK managers mobilized 10 teams of police cars to search for the girl, one of whom came from the Klaipėda district.

In the evening, 20 officers who had already finished their work that day were called in to perform an unexpected task.

Until morning, four officers from the Criminal Police Organized Crime Investigation Board also worked.

A few hours later, the woman replied, said she was fine, and hung up. Right after that, the phone turned off again.

It was still unclear if she had done so voluntarily or if she had been forced to interrupt the conversation with the police.

The criminals took operational steps, clarified the personal details of the car owner and his life partner, and tried to find out where they lived.

The officers did a tremendous job. This was not easy to do, since the woman was calling from a phone with a prepaid card.

In addition, the couple settled in a house where both have not declared their place of residence.

The couple only slept

Initially, authorities only had indications of where the car was headed.

The city was combed, and the patios and remote streets of apartment buildings were carefully inspected.

Police stopped the cars, looking to see if they could carry a girl described by a witness.

It took some time unnecessarily, because it was not immediately clear that he needed to look for a BMW instead of a Mercedes.

It was only later that it became known that after the conflict, the couple returned home, left the car in the yard, and were still walking. Later he went home and went nowhere, he stayed home.

When 4 p.m. In the morning, the police knocked on the door of the apartment on Kretinga Street, they already knew the personalities of both partners.

Officials who investigated organized crime took several hours to discover these problems.

At first, the police discovered the woman’s personality, then discovered where and with whom she lives.

The couple slept as calmly as possible at the time.

When the door opened, the two 33-year-old roommates were surprised by such an unexpectedly early visit from officials.

Since the couple has a young son, it was impossible to take the woman to the police station for questioning.

The police only took her friend.

The young mother was interviewed later, at the beginning of the working day.

Why the woman did not report that she no longer needed help, that she reconciled with a friend, is incomprehensible.

It is hard to believe that neither of them saw the explosive news on the internet about the alleged kidnapped girl and did not realize that this news was about them.

Reconnected suspicions

In the morning, the police reclassified the investigation of the illegal deprivation of liberty in a case of violence under the penal code against a family member.

Much later, it became clear that while driving a car through the Mazūriškės settlement in the Klaipėda suburbs, the inhabitants who raised a baby for several months competed.

The conflict was over a child. The woman wanted to pick up the baby and stop driving in the roommate’s car.

When the car stopped on the side of the road, the young woman called the General Emergency Center, the operators picked up the phone and heard a call for help, but the woman could not say her name or last name.

The man allegedly did not allow the couple to continue the conversation, dragged her to the car and took her home.

The couple then reconciled. At least that way in the morning interviewed by both said.

He remembered other cases.

“In this case, we cannot talk about a false report about a non-existent crime. The woman really felt threatened. In search of a battered woman, the officers did their job. I have to admit they did a great job,” the subordinates praised. R. Vaitkevičius.

The witness allegedly saw the girl being dragged by the man, but was unaware of the start of the incident, giving the impression that the man had taken the stranger by force.

Recalling the murder of Ieva Strazdauskaitė from Plungiškės and another case when the kidnapped girl was transported in the trunk of a car and then burned, it is not surprising that officials reacted to this incident very seriously.

There have been no such drastic crimes in Klaipeda lately.

It is true that a couple of hours ago, the police and volunteers searched for unknown missing teenagers. The girl appeared late at night, she was frozen and very scared. She said she had been attacked by a homeless person, who was going to be indecent.

The head of the Klaipėda city police station recalled that it was only after a long time that it was established that the girl had spoken the truth.

Authorities still remember the actual kidnapping of a boy a decade ago, when a freshman was kidnapped on the way to school and 400,000 were demanded for it. LTL.

On the same day, the boy was released and the kidnappers were detained.

It will also explain about the child

On Wednesday, the police contacted specialists from the Children’s Rights Protection Service and informed them about the conflict between the baby’s parents, during which the woman called the police.

This service should also find out if the couple’s baby is safe living with their parents.

Arūnas Malinovskis, Chief of the Division of Public Relations and Communication of the State Service for the Protection and Adoption of Children’s Rights, assured that the specialists would communicate with the couple and explain if this was the only case in the woman’s life and if it was safe for the child to grow up in such a family.

“Usually, after a parental conflict involving a child, the staff conducts an investigation and, if necessary, provides assistance to the adults and the child. A case manager is appointed for this, who develops a family support plan, “said Malinovsky.
