“The Norwegian police have officially announced the list of missing persons. It also includes the Lithuanian citizen Rasa Lasinskienė. The authorities report that an intensive search is continuing at the disaster scene,” Vytautė Šmaižytė told BNS.

According to her, the Lithuanian Embassy in Norway maintains regular contact with local officials and government officials and is ready to respond.

In Norway, rescuers found the body of the first victim on Friday and are still searching for nine other people, including two children, after a landslide that washed away several houses in a village.

When the slope of the hill slipped Wednesday morning in the town of Asko in Jerdrum municipality, about 25 km northeast of the capital Oslo, a stream of mud flooded or destroyed several houses.
