Nigel Williams-Goss, who spent the season in the National Basketball Association (NBA), is nearing his return to Europe.
Mozzart Sport announces that the player is close to reaching an agreement with Lokomotiv Krasnodar, represented by Mantas Kalnietis and Mindaugas Kuzminskas.
Lokomotiv have won 8 victories in Group C of the European Cup in 10 matches and are now preparing for the Top 16 stage.
The 26-year-old defender, who was fired by the Utah Jazz last month, played 11 NBA games last year and scored 1.3 points on average in 4 minutes and had 0.6 assists.
Williams-Goss spent more time on the Jazz Salt Lake City Stars affiliate team, which was coached by current Kaunas Žalgiris strategist Martin Schiller.
In the G League, the defender scored 15.3 points and 5.6 assists in 30 minutes.
Before leaving for the NBA, the player represented Piraeus Olympiacos and recorded 9.2 points, 4.2 assists and 8.8 utility points in the Euroleague in 26 minutes.
