• Try to wash your hands as often as possible (at least 20-30 seconds).

• Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue while you sneeze and cough. Throw used tissues in the trash. If you don’t have a tissue handy, sneeze and cough into your sleeve (preferably in the direction of your elbow). If you have covered your mouth and nose with the palm of your hand, wash your hands immediately.
• If you become ill, contact your personal healthcare provider by phone and follow your doctor’s advice.
• If you have the flu, wear a medical mask to help prevent secretion from your airways from coughing or sneezing. Healthy people should also wear medical masks when breastfeeding a sick person.
