To make that farewell painless, the woman promises to be invited to a farm with friendly farm animals, and can climb in a specially equipped park.
Danuta says the idea to open a Christmas tree shelter came about spontaneously:
“We saw a lot of Christmas trees lying in the containers, and people on Facebook were looking for where to put the Christmas trees in pots. So that idea was born so spontaneously: I put an ad, but then we received few Christmas trees. We launched the ad in the early January, so people may not have seen it. “
This year, the woman is also receiving calls from people who want to give Christmas trees after Christmas. However, sometimes people have to explain that Danuta only accepts Christmas trees, but does not sell or rent them:
“There are a lot of messages and calls this year, people are interested, hope that we can also buy Christmas trees from ourselves. We do not rent or sell Christmas trees, we only accept them for planting. There are many calls, and I don’t know how many Christmas trees we will get.” .
There will definitely be enough space
The woman says there will be enough for all the Christmas trees on the local farm. And planting these Christmas trees would delight not only her and her family, but also the visitors who came to the farm:
“We really have a lot of space, even a dug out pond, the banks of which are not planted, so we would plant Christmas trees around that pond and it would be very beautiful, not only for me, but for all visitors. There will be enough space for all the trees, ”says Danuta.
Changed the city to the village
For a long time, now living in the country, the woman lived in the city, as she puts it, “on the asphalt.” Since she had never had her own village, she was the woman who had long dreamed of living in the village.
After moving to live on the edge of the forest, Danuta appreciates the opportunity to go for a walk, especially now, during a pandemic:
“Only after getting married and buying a country house in the village did I realize that dream. I see the benefits of living in the country and not attracting anything to the city. It was especially felt during the quarantine, when we have a patio, we have forests, we can walk, while it is very unfortunate for people who live in a closed box. “
The woman is from Vilnius, but after studying veterinary medicine in Kaunas and marrying a man, according to Danuta, she often began to “talk” about the village with her husband. The first thought was to buy a piece of land and use it as a garden for the summer.

The farm animals gradually appeared.
D. Beliavska-Aleksiejūnė’s farm now houses horses, ponies, sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens and dogs. According to her, all these residents gradually emerged, Danuta agrees with all the animals and manages to take care of all of them, as she left her job at the Veterinary Academy last summer, where she worked until now.
“The animals were born little by little. Not the whole gang. Little by little, the man did not get angry and did not realize it. (laughs) more and more.
I worked all the time as a vet at the Veterinary Academy, this summer I quit my real job because I want to work here and give myself fully, the animals earn their food, I have socks left (laughs) I’m absolutely happy about that, ”the woman jokes.
Spontaneity is everywhere
Spontaneous decisions seem to be closer to Danuta’s heart. Like the idea of a Christmas tree shelter, the idea of opening your home to visitors also came up unexpectedly.
Only after moving to live with her husband in the village, the woman shared her daily life on the social network Instagram. Here she was seen by a blogger who asked to visit and describe the farm:
“It was very strange for me because I was not a celebrity or a commercial farm, but when she arrived she told me to open up to the general public so that others could also enjoy our animals.
I did not expect anyone here to find it interesting to enter that town, but in fact the first summer there was such an influx of people that there was something incredible. From that day on, people crowd together and don’t stop ”.
With the start of the quarantine, the number of visitors dropped significantly, but the woman is not sad about it. He hopes that after the quarantine, the visitors will return and can communicate with the residents of the farm again.
Children are afraid of goats.
The woman who lives in the village also tells curious facts when the children brought by the parents to the farm are frightened by the animals, which they had only seen in children’s books before and imagined as little creatures:
“Modern kids, even strange to me, they don’t know the animals, they don’t know the proportions. They see a sheep and a goat in a book and they think it’s a beautiful little animal, but when that goat gets almost the size of a child , it really scares them and screams in horror often. “
Sometimes Danuta also has to discipline the little guests:
“They do not imagine that an animal is the same organism as us, that it hurts them. It is fun for a child to swallow, squash, not understand that it is a living being. Certainly these kids don’t have to be restrained once or twice, but eventually they come to an agreement. “
