After the vaccination procedure, which lasted only a few seconds, J. Litvinienė said that he felt very well.

“I feel great. It’s just a normal vaccination procedure, a normal painless pin prick,” said J. Litvinienė.

He was also asked what this first vaccine means, in his opinion, for the Lithuanian medical community.

“I would say that during that festive period it is very symbolic, as if it were a Christmas miracle. That we have the means to handle this huge global pandemic, “said the doctor.

According to J. Litvinienė, after the first vaccination, it will be calmer to work psychologically with COVID-19 patients, although the same protective measures will be used as before, because it takes time for immunity to develop.

The doctor urged to trust science and a huge team of scientists who developed this vaccine and not be afraid to get vaccinated against the coronavirus.
