A rare neuromuscular disease is myasthenia gravis. Gennaro GattusoEven after the symptoms worsened, he decided not to rest and continues to train at the Napoli club.
“For the past 12 days, I have felt like myself. I want to attract everyone, especially children who look in the mirror and see something strange: life is beautiful, enjoy it. Boys are also tortured by seeing me like this. I know, but I’m still alive. I have had myasthenia for a decade and this is the third time my symptoms have gotten this bad, but I know it will go away and my eyes will look normal again. It’s not just a visual problem, it relieves the force, and when you roll your eyes 24 hours a day, things get a lot worse. Only a madman like me would work in such circumstances. Anyway, this is my life and there are even worse moments in it. I know that some have already concluded that I have a month to live, but I can assure you that I will be fine, ”says Gattuso.
Myasthenia gravis is an autoimmune disease that weakens the muscles and causes pathological fatigue. It is a rare disease with an incidence of 25-125 cases per million inhabitants in several countries.
