“After the introduction of quarantine measures, that level shows a significant drop. There is much less movement of cars, you can see that the tool works,” said the director of Privacy Partners.

According to M. Bieliūnas, the dynamics of the pedestrian movement is still being analyzed, but, he stressed, there is a slight decrease in this context.

“It can be concluded that people move, but they move more in their places of residence, in the municipalities. This is called interurban quarantine, it seems that it works and this measure should give its results ”, emphasized M. Bieliūnas.

According to an information technology specialist, Apple uses a completely anonymous methodology to collect such data.
