Deputy Minister Agnė Kudarauskienė will begin work this week, and on January 4, Deputy Minister Ramūnas Skaudžius.

G. Jakštas graduated from Vilnius University with a BA in Econometrics and a MA in Finance and Insurance Mathematics from Tilburg University (Netherlands). He has worked for Lietuvos Draudimas, Statistician of Lithuania.

Kudarauskienė was recently an educational expert responsible for improving vocational training at the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists, as well as an innovation expert at the Agency for Science, Innovation and Technology, a researcher at the Department of Pedagogy of Klaipėda University.
At Vytautas Magnus University, he has a doctorate in education, as well as a master’s degree in educational management and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, and an internship at Capital Normal University in Beijing.
A. Kudarauskienė has worked at the King Mindaugas Vocational Training Center, Vytautas Magnus University, the Vocational Training and Qualifications Development Center, and the Lithuanian Engineering Industry Association. She was also elected to the Council of Non-Formal Adult Education of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports, the Council of the Center for the Evaluation of Quality in Higher Education.
After the new year, on January 4, the Deputy Minister of General Education R. Skaudžius will begin his work.
“The main objective is to ensure equal opportunities for all Lithuanian children to get the best education that meets their needs. To this end, programs must be appropriately updated, with a focus on training new educators and the qualifications of existing educators. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in chemistry from Vilnius University, a professor’s degree from Vytautas Magnus University, and a doctorate.
R. Skaudžius worked as a chemistry teacher at Vilnius St. At Christopher Gymnasium, later he worked here as an education adjunct. In 2011 he received the Love Lukšienė award.
Later he taught at the VU, in 2017 he was appointed Vice Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry and Geosciences of studies.
R. Skaudžius is one of the initiators of the Lithuanian Natural Sciences Olympics and Lithuanian Geosciences, chemistry director of the European Union Science Olympics and International Youth Sciences, co-author of the integrated natural science course for grades 5 -8.
Internships in Sweden, Japan, Taiwan and Jordan for the last 5 years. This year, the VU Rector’s Young Scientist Science Award was awarded for significant scientific achievements.
