Paulius Rudzkis, Acting Director of the Data Analysis and Solutions Department, Records Center 15 minutes explained that in the analysis of 40-60 square meters. M across Lithuania should come as no surprise that they cost the most in the tourist towns of Neringa, Palanga and Birštonas, as well as in three major cities in the country.

“In five years, the top of the most expensive apartments in the municipalities has not changed at all, only the amounts spent on the purchase of said apartments have changed,” he says.

According to P. Rudzkis, since the number of transactions registered in certain municipalities per year is not enough, it is better to take into account the median than the average.

For example, in the municipality of Neringa, where several dozen transactions are concluded per year, this year between 40 and 60 m2. m, the average number of apartment transactions is 2620.5 euros per m2. meter. Compared to 2015, it is a quarter higher.

In the capital, the median of these types of apartment transactions has increased by almost 40% in the last five years, in Palanga – up to 55%, in Klaipėda – by about 40%, in Kaunas – by 70% .
