– You mentioned that the team collapses psychologically. Are there no leading leaders in the team like in Žalgiris?
– We have countless good people in the locker room – and with a lot of experience, and people who have won titles, seen and warm, since the cold, worked with countless coaches. I wouldn’t agree that we don’t have people who can grab during games or off the pitch. There are a lot of those people, the season has not reached the middle of today and we will solve our problems. I hope that everything can be changed in the second part of the season.
– What impact could resurrect the team?
– We don’t know and we don’t have a magic wand. It would be very nice, simple, if it could be solved so quickly. The only way is to work, train, blindly correct mistakes. Yes, we are a new team, someone who has not played in the Euroleague, someone who does not know half of the players in the Euroleague. This is normal, it all makes sense, but there is no other way. I don’t know if changes can happen or anything else. Every day in basketball is a new story. No one else will fix it, just us.
– Are you surprised by the level of play shown by Marius Grigonis?
– Not really surprising. We all know how Marius can play and we let him do what he does to this day. I would like to keep the same game or even better. I think he will surprise all Žalgiris fans with his good game and good energy.
