“For many years I have been committing crimes not only in Lithuania, but also abroad, only from where I live,” Rolandas K. said in court. “Together with my ex-wife, we put ads on the Internet and try to cheat on anyone.”
In court, Rolandas K. even boasted that he had already deceived half of Lithuania.
“I would be lying if I said I’m sorry,” he said when asked how he evaluated his behavior.
He was brought to the victim by his wife.
He said that in November 2019 he saw an ad on Lux TV that a man was looking for a man. The scammer decided that he would be his next victim.
They corresponded with short messages, the deceiver introduced himself to Dainius, and after a brief communication they agreed to meet.
Rolandas K. asked his wife to take him to Telšiai, where the victim lived. The woman herself testified that she knew nothing about the crimes of the former spouse, did not suspect and what she was planning this time.
“I let Roland go somewhere and he left,” recalled the scammer’s ex-wife. – After about 30-40 minutes he called me and told me to take it. There he was with an old man he did not know. They asked to be taken to the supermarket, where I ran. After a while, Roland came back with just the bag, saying there were phones. “
After sex – threats
A couple of days after these events, on November 30, a man went to the police and reported that he was threatened and demanded money.
He said he met Dainius during the commercials and met at his home.
The man openly admitted that he had talked to Dainius and then had sex. After the intercourse, Dainius revealed that he had secretly filmed everything and demanded payment, otherwise the video would be made public.
