In the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL), Šiauliai (2-8), which has been stuck this season, has made changes to the club’s management.

Šiauliai City Artūras Visockas announced on Facebook that Donatas Slanina had been appointed as the new director by a unanimous vote of the club’s shareholders.
The mayor of the city of the sun also announced that the plans for this season and the club’s prospects for next year will be discussed with Slanina tomorrow.
Since September 2019, Mindaugas Stankevičius has been the director of the Šiauliai Club.
Mindaugas Žukauskas holds the position of sporting director in the team.
Slanina, 43, started his professional basketball career in Šiauliai, where he played from 1993. Until 1999 Šiauliai ended his basketball career in 2013.
