If residents do not adhere to the stricter quarantine regime that will go into effect on Wednesday, which will open many stores and service points, quarantine requirements could be further toughened, says the prime minister.
Ingrida told LRT television on Tuesday that grocery store sales could be further restricted.
I would like to hope that the fact that not all stores are open and some sell even more in range due to their nature does not become a guide for our companies to entertain themselves in those places. If it becomes obvious, quarantine requirements will need to be further strengthened, said I. imonyt on the LRT program on the day’s topic.
According to her, these could be decisions that separate the trade in essential goods from non-essential ones.
The experience in Europe, it must be said, is different, maai are ali, where aikiai cannot be marketed in those points of sale that sell both food and non-food, not food, because then it is necessary to discuss whether the elements of the bulbs are a must or not. but it’s done. (…) If it becomes a big center of attraction and you see that the mons just hang out in the shops or spend a lot of time on the big brooms, obviously you should consider bigger creams, said the Prime Minister.
We will monitor the situation very closely, if additional decisions are needed, for example for non-food goods or accommodation services during the holiday period, those decisions will be made, he added.
In Lithuania, a stricter quarantine regime will take place on Wednesday, during which many shops, hair salons and the movement of companies will be closed. Pharmacies and grocery stores may continue to operate, but they will not be prohibited from selling other products.
Only food trade will be allowed in the market, different food stores will have to be closed.
Starting Wednesday, there will also be no contact service for more than 15 minutes, and there will be no public worship at banquets.
Residents cannot leave their township without critical access, and only family members or two people from different families can walk in public places.
