According to the Ministry, S. Barauskienė, 17, who has worked in the field of communication and the media, has been an advisor to the outgoing president Dalia Grybauskait tiene, has experience in crisis management, strategic communication, image creation , international relations and has worked in public and private sector organizations.
Recently, S. Barauskienė has been working with the communication of financial companies in the public relations agency Publicum Fcomm. Since 2012 she was a communication advisor for Mr. Grybauskaitė, in 2014 she was spokesperson for the presidential election campaign of Mr. Grybauskaitė.
Until then, S. Barauskienė worked as a journalist – from 2007 to 2012 as a reporter for TV3 Žinių, and since 2003 – as a journalist for the BNS news agency. S. Barauskienė graduated from Vilnius University with a BA in history and studied media studies.
