According to the minister, the vaccination process in Lithuania “will take some time”.
The European Medicines Agency should make a decision on the vaccine developed by Moderna before 12 January.
The supervisory authority is also verifying a vaccine developed by AstraZeneca in collaboration with the University of Oxford, as well as a preparation by Johnson & Johnson.
