Finishing fourth in today’s race in Abu Dhabi, Alex Albon believes he has done his best to keep his place in the Red Bull team for next season.
The athlete remained fifth in the heats, but was able to pass McLaren’s Lando Norris early in the race and move up to fourth place. At the end of the race, Albon managed to catch up with Lewis Hamilton, but the Red Bull driver was still behind the opponent, so he had to settle for fourth place.
“I feel like it was my best weekend,” A Albon said.
“I want to thank everyone who supported me not only on the track but also at the base of the team. We didn’t give up, looking for solutions that would make me feel better in the car. And it’s definitely not that easy car to drive. But I’m proud of myself that under so much pressure I was able to achieve such a good result. I think it was a good end to the season. “
