“With the television and radio programs directed by Teta Beta, several generations have grown up in Lithuania. Aunt Beta is known and remembered even by those who have not read fairy tales and cartoons for a long time. Saying goodbye is always a little sad, and when we said goodbye to Aunt Beta, we said goodbye to an entire era.
In fact, the shows presented by Tía Beta had become a real phenomenon, gathering crowds of children on television screens and later on the radio. We thank Bernadeta for all the years she has been with us, for the care and warmth she shared in the education of our little ones, ”says Monika Garbačiauskaitė-Budrienė, director of LRT.
