In the Citadele King Mindaugas Cup (KMT), the playoffs are approaching, so the spells were drawn for the quarterfinals.
After them, it became clear that Kaunas “Žalgiris” would face Pasvalys “Pienovaigždės”, while Vilnius “Rytas” would once again face the challenge of Utena “Juventus”.
The competitors of Panevėžys “Lietkabelis” will be Prienai “Cbet” and Klaipėda “Neptūnas” – Alytus “Dzūkija” or “Šiauliai”, who have not yet played in the second stage fights.
Two matches will be played in the quarterfinal phase: the first matches will take place in Utena, Prienai, Pasvalys and Alytus or Šiauliai, and the counterparts will take place in Kaunas, Vilnius, Panevėžys and Klaipėda. The team with the best ratio of points scored and lost after two games will enter the Citadele KMT final four tournament.
In the semifinals, the winners of the first pair will meet the winners of the fourth pair, and the winners of the second pair will meet the winners of the third.
The final four of the Citadele KMT will take place from February 13 to 14.
