Resort residents and guests were invited to observe the lighting of Neringa’s Christmas trees without being trapped, safely and warmly in their home. So around 6 pm two green scarves were lit on the Facebook pages of the Neringa municipality, Nida KTIC Agila and the Neringa art school.
During the broadcast, the audience was surprised: Santa Claus and fire acrobats appeared. True, near the port of Nida it will be possible to see an artistic light object, a labyrinth, which will repeat the motif of the sign “Neringa – Lithuanian Capital of Culture 2021”. The curious can also visit this labyrinth.

Throughout December, the Nida Agila Culture and Tourism Information Center will translate the virtual Advent calendar pages on its Facebook page. The creative teams of the center will create a set of special offers during Advent: creative workshops on Christmas decoration, presentation of Advent traditions, songs and culinary evenings.
It is true that for those who are tired of screens, community initiatives will also invite you to take a walk through public spaces. Holiday greetings and wishes will be exchanged on the greeting plane in downtown Nida.
