“Now the same experts are making unsubstantiated accusations against the president that he is doing this job thoroughly and with quality,” he said.
He recalled that he managed to form a government four years ago in seven days.
“Our Government and I were able to form a cabinet within seven days of the Prime Minister’s approval of the decree of President Dalia Grybauskaitė. This was immediately followed by the approval of the Government’s program and the final approval of the budget by the Government,” said the Prime Minister.
The Seimas approved the candidacy of Ingrida Šimonytė to lead the Government on November 24. I.Šimonytė presented the list of proposed candidates for ministers to G.Nausėda two weeks ago.
The Prime Minister-designate and the President have 15 days to coordinate the program of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Government and present it to the Seimas for its consideration.
